Activism and Feminism

By Prisha Agrawal

Are women meant to be at home?
Aren't women supposed to be helping in making to world a better place?

Hello everybody, my name is Prisha Agrawal, today I will be talking about Activism and Feminism

Well, they are free to do anything they want. If women are not allowed to do what they want, then Indira Gandhi wouldn't have ever become the PM of India. Women empowerment is something that is required in this world. This world needs the equality and justice that everyone in this world needs. Without women, this world is nothing but a peace of busy land. If women were not allowed to show greatness then would Shakuntala Devi ever become a mathematic genius?
Women work day and night in their house, not in their office or lab. To empower women, the best thing that I can think of is that we should make a group of 500 women in each city of our country and then educate them in different fields so that the world can see what can be the results of women being empowered. This is a minute step to empower women. Activism plays an important role in our society. If India did not take the movement of Swach Bharat Abhiyan, India wouldn't have much pure water left! If Gandhi Ji did not start the Non-violence and Non-cooperation movement then India wouldn't have been much independent today. The people who are a part of movements are called activists.

Together, Women Empowerment and Activism play a major role in the development of a country. India is still under development which means that India is still making itself a better place to live. Women are also empowered so they aren't captivated in a box where they can't do a thing.
